Now Accepting Applications for 2023 PCI/Gema Scholarship

The Powder Coating Institute (PCI) is accepting applications for its 2023 PCI Scholarship Program, designed to award students studying in areas that can lead to a career in the powder coating industry.

PCI recognizes the need to bring bright, young scholars into the powder coating industry. “The PCI Scholarship Program increases the exposure to the powder coating industry, and in turn, the great jobs that are available in our industry,” states Kevin Coursin, PCI’s Executive Director.

Candidates must complete the online application and submit supporting documents by March 24, 2023.  Interested applicants should go to https://www.powdercoating.org/page/ScholarshipApp to submit the required information. Scholarship recipients will be asked to provide a brief follow-up summary of educational experiences during the 2023-2024 academic year.

The PCI Scholarship Subcommittee reviews applications and awards scholarships based on a set of criteria, established and approved by the PCI Board of Directors, including specific studies and projects related to powder coatings, future goals & career objectives, unique qualifications/goals/aspirations, letter of recommendation and grade point average. 

A representative from Gema USA will participate in the selection process for the PCI/Gema Scholarship.
