Safety Week at Gema
We held different activities that are designed to actively engage employees and raise awareness to strengthen our collective commitment to a safe workplace.
June is Safety Month at Graco and all its global facilities. Gema is proud to be joining the initiative with a series of engaging events at its headquarters in Gossau, Switzerland. These activities are designed to actively engage employees and raise awareness, strengthening our collective commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
We have laid our focus on three main topics.
The first is how to react in an emergency. This ensures that everyone knows where to go, who to call and what priorities to set, so that we can achieve the best possible outcome.
Secondly, we discussed the importance of our personal safety gear. It is crucial to avoid emergencies before they happen. Therefore, we always use the correct safety gear and help each employee to acquire the right equipment for their needs.
Last but not least, what should an ergonomic environment look like? The long-term care of our employees is very important to us here at Gema. We offer various solutions to ensure that the working environment fits the people, rather than the other way around.
